Somaia, a Fine Arts Helwan graduate, gained recognition as an artist and art director. Notable achievements include representing Egypt in an international exhibition on Virus C, contributing to a play at Cairo Opera House, and designing costumes for festivals in Tunis and Lebanon. Passionate about community development, she founded "Ladun," an art tourism social enterprise. Somaia, with a keen interest in fabric art, launched her fashion brand in 2017. In 2023, she showcased her work at Pure London, Egypt Fashion Week, attended a sustainability workshop in Italy, and crafted branded scarves for VIPs in UNFPA.
